COMUNICADO SOBRE LAS COLONIAS FELINAS
El Ayuntamiento de Nigüelas informa de que la Ley 7/2023 de protección de los derechos y el bienestar de los animales atribuye a los municipios competencias en la gestión de las colonias felinas.
Con el objetivo de cumplir esta normativa y garantizar una gestión responsable y ética, se están dando los primeros pasos para la implantación del método CER (Captura, Esterilización y Retorno), contando para ello con la colaboración de personas voluntarias organizadas en una asociación sin ánimo de lucro.
Rogamos a todos los vecinos y vecinas que respeten tanto la labor de las personas voluntarias como a los animales que forman parte de estas colonias. Cualquier incidencia, duda o sugerencia podrá trasladarse al Ayuntamiento.
Estas actuaciones tienen como finalidad mejorar la convivencia, el bienestar animal y el cumplimiento de la legislación vigente.
NOTICE REGARDING FERAL CAT COLONIES
Nigüelas Town Council wishes to inform residents that Law 7/2023 on the protection and welfare of animals assigns municipalities responsibilities for the management of feral cat colonies.
In order to comply with this legislation and ensure responsible and ethical management, the first steps are being taken to implement the CER method (Capture, Neuter and Return), with the support of volunteers organised through a non-profit association.
We kindly ask all residents to respect both the work of the volunteers and the animals that form part of these colonies. Any concerns, questions or suggestions can be directed to the Town Council.
These measures aim to improve community coexistence, animal welfare and compliance with current legislation.
